Man Accused Of Displaying Gun During Larceny Attempt At Matthew’s Lowe’s
MATTHEWS, N.C. — Police say a man flashed a gun at an employee at a local Lowe’s during a larceny attempt.
Officers with the Matthews Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two men accused in the larceny.
The men reportedly entered the Lowe’s on Matthews Township Parkway on April 2nd around 7:30pm, picked out some merchandise and left without paying for it, according to a news release.
As they were leaving the store, police say one of the suspects displayed a handgun to a store employee. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. The suspects are described as two white men, one with a thin build and brown hair and the other with a medium build and brown hair.
