CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has charged two suspects for their alleged involvement in two armed robberies on April 1st.
Sutton Williams, 20, and a 15-year-old juvenile male are each charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Williams, according to police, also faces an additional charge of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon as well as possession of stolen property.
According to investigators, the first robbery took place around 10:30pm on East 3rd Street and the second was around 11:14pm on South Tryon. Police say the victims in each robbery claim a suspect pointed a gun and demanded property before taking off.
