Suspect In Custody After Standoff At Concord Apartment Complex
CONCORD, NC — Concord Police say a man who barricaded himself inside an apartment following a domestic incident Wednesday evening is in custody.
The standoff ended around midnight. Police say they were called to a domestic situation and shots fired call at the Bexley Apartments on Blue Sky Drive around 8pm.
The man then barricaded himself inside when officers arrived.
Officials said it was not an active shooter situation and advised residents at the complex to remain inside. Anyone traveling through the area was also advised to seek an alternate route.
The suspect’s name and charges have not yet been released. Check back for updates.
