CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are still investigating an overnight shooting that sent one teen to the hospital.
The shooting happened around 2am at a home on Mistral Way in northwest Charlotte. Police say someone fired several rounds into the home, injuring a 13-year-old boy.
He was taken to the hospital by Medic with a gunshot wound to the leg, officials say, and is expected to be okay. Three other people were inside the home as well, but were not injured.
Investigators say they are still searching for possible suspects. They believe the house was specifically targeted.
