CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD is investigating four shootings that happened within 15 minutes overnight in Charlotte.
The first shooting was reported at 12:47am on April 23rd on Enoch Drive off West Sugar Creek Road in north Charlotte. Police say someone fired shots into a home. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
The second shooting was reported at 12:52am on April 23rd on Bradford Drive near Freedom Drive in west Charlotte. Police say a man was shot but is expected to recover from his injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No arrests have been made.
The third shooting was reported at 12:59am on April 23rd on Thriftwood Drive off Freedom Drive in west Charlotte. Police say someone fired shots into a home. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made.
The fourth shooting was reported at 1:02am on April 23rd on Esmeralda Drive off Statesville Road in north Charlotte. Police say one person was shot but is expected to recover from their injuries. Police say they also found a home that was shot into. No arrests have been made.
CMPD says they do believe the shootings are connected and are part of an ongoing dispute between multiple people.
