Two Suspects Wanted In Connection To Matthews Verizon Store Robbery

MATTHEWS, NC — Police are trying to identify two suspects wanted for breaking into and robbing a Verizon store early Friday morning.

The store on Matthews Township Parkway was broken into around 2:08am after police say two suspects threw a large rock through the front glass door.

According to surveillance video, one of the suspects then entered the store and stole several cell phones from inside. The other suspect acted as a lookout at the front door.

They are described as two back men, around 5 feet 8 inches tall with slim builds.
