2019 Well’s Fargo Championship Attendance Information

CHARLOTTE, NC — The 2019 Wells Fargo Championship is underway at the Quail Hollow Club in south Charlotte. The tournament runs from April 29-May 5 with tee times starting at 7am.

If you are among those planning to attend the event, there are some things you need to know before heading out to the grounds.


Tickets to the tournament are available for purchase online by clicking here, and are also available for purchase at the On and Off-Site Will Call locations.

Children ages 12 and under can get in free with an adult ticket holder (one child per adult).

Officials say refunds or exchanges will not be available, and all sales are final. There will also be no re-entry permitted.

The Wells Fargo Championship proudly offers complimentary admission to the tournament for all military with a valid military ID. To reserve tickets and get more information on the program, click here.

Will Call

Proper photo ID is required. Will Call will be located at the following locations:

  • Symphony Park – Off-Site Will Call Location
    • Located in the parking lot of Symphony Park (the Reid’s Fine Foods parking lot at the intersection of Carnegie Blvd. and Barclay Downs Drive). GPS Address: 4331 Barclay Downs Drive, Charlotte, NC 28209
      Open Monday, April 29 – Saturday, May 4 from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 5 from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Quail Hollow Club – 2 Will Call Locations
    • Bus Drop Off Will Call Location – Located conveniently in the main bus drop off at Quail Hollow Club. Upon arrival, please look for the “Will Call” tent.
    • Pedestrian Gate Will Call Location – Located at the gate entry for patrons using Uber, Bicycle parking or for those walking.
      Open Monday, April 29 – Saturday, May 4 from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 5 from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.


Taxes, parking and shuttle fees, at authorized tournament lots, are included in the purchase of each ticket.

Leave the Car, Ride the Rail

Ticketed patrons for the Wells Fargo Championship can conveniently utilize the CATS LYNX Blue Line to catch tournament shuttles.

  • Tournament shuttles will ONLY be available from the Sharon Road West Light Rail Station.
  • There will be no tournament parking at the Sharon Road West Station.
  • To access tournament shuttles, all patrons MUST present a tournament ticket and a valid LYNX ticket purchased on the day of service from one of the LYNX stations OTHER THAN SHARON ROAD WEST. There will be NO exceptions.
  • Patrons should exit trains at the station and follow signs to the shuttle loading area. Shuttle drop-off and pick-up will be at the main tournament entrance.
  • Shuttles will be available from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily.

Uptown Shuttle Service

Open Monday – Sunday 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • A complimentary Uptown Charlotte shuttle service will run Monday – Sunday 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from the Charlotte Convention Center, Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. entrance. Event parking will be available in surrounding lots.
  • Please note: Uptown parking lots are not tournament-authorized. The tournament does not control the pricing or availability in Uptown parking.

Carowinds- Parking & Shuttle

(Tournament-Authorized Lot)

Open Monday – Friday only, 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • From I-77: Take I77 to Exit 90 (the NC/SC border). Follow the signs to Carowinds.
  • From I-485: Take I-485 to I-77 South via Exit 67 towards Columbia. Take Carowinds Blvd. Exit 90. Follow the signs to Carowinds.

Ballantyne Corporate Park- Parking & Shuttle

(Tournament-Authorized Lot)

Open Saturday & Sunday only, 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • From I-77: Take I-77 to I-485 Eastbound. Exit off of I-485 onto Johnston Road (Exit 61) going South. Ballantyne Corporate Park is on your right at the first stop light. Please follow the signs to designated parking areas.

Southpark Area- Parking & Shuttle

(Tournament-Authorized Lot)

Open Saturday & Sunday only, 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

  • From I-77N: Take Tyvola Road (Exit 5). Turn right on Tyvola Road. (Tyvola becomes Fairview Road.) Turn left onto Barclay Downs and follow the signs to reserved designated parking areas.
  • From I-77S: Take Tyvola Road (Exit 5). Turn left onto Tyvola Road. (Tyvola becomes Fairview Road.) Turn left onto Barclay Downs and follow the signs to reserved designated parking areas.
  • From I-85N: Take Billy Graham Parkway (Exit 33). Turn right at top of ramp, go 2 miles and take the Tyvola Road exit (Tyvola becomes Fairview Road). Turn left onto Barclay Downs and follow the signs to reserved designated parking areas.
  • From I-85S: Take Exit 38 to I-77S. Follow I-77S directions.

Uber Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Patrons can utilize the Uber app to request rides for drop-off and pick-up during the tournament. Uber driver-partners will be able to deliver and pick-up their clients on Gleneagles Rd with close access and patrons can enter the tournament through the convenient pedestrian gate. Personal vehicles will not be allowed to access Gleneagles Rd. Uber is the exclusive rideshare partner to help you get to and from the tournament. All patrons must make their own personal arrangements and be responsible for both their arrival and departure schedules.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking is located at Forest Hill Church, 7224 Park Road, on Mon. – Fri. ONLY and Quail Hollow Middle School, 2901 Smithfield Church Road, on Sat. & Sun. ONLY. Dedicated wheelchair-accessible buses will shuttle disabled persons and their guests to the tournament.

Bicycle Parking

The Wells Fargo Championship is a bicycle friendly tournament. Be more environmentally friendly and avoid riding the shuttles – ride your bicycle to the event! Bike racks will be provided in the gravel parking lot across from the main entrance of the club. There is a separate pedestrian entrance for patrons who ride their bikes or walk to the tournament. Please note the tournament is not liable for any stolen or damaged items.

Autograph Policy

During official competitive rounds (Thursday through Sunday), a player will not sign autographs after the start of his round until it is complete. An autograph area will be designated at the tournament, where players have the option to use this area.

Alcohol Policy

Spectators are not allowed to bring any type of alcohol to the tournament grounds. Only beer and wine can be removed from any Private Hospitality area or the Clubhouse. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold to the public any later than one hour prior to the scheduled end of competition. Private Hospitality areas and the Clubhouse will close one hour after the end of competition.

Inclement Weather Policy

Observe the leader boards throughout the golf course for “Weather Warning” signs that will appear prior to inclement weather: When the sign appears, take precautions prior to play being suspended. If the siren sounds, seek shelter immediately. Avoid open areas, hilltops and/or high places, isolated trees, golf carts, and wire fences.
