CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating after a man was shot in the leg in west Charlotte.
The shooting happened on Rush Avenue near Tuckaseegee Road just after 3pm on Friday. The victim reportedly drove to a home on Parkdale Drive, which is a short distance away, for help.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No suspect information has been released at this time. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
