CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have released safety Da’Norris Searcy and waived offensive tackle Isaiah Battle, according to the team.
Searcy was limited to two games before being placed on injured reserve after signing with the Panthers in 2018. He started both of the games he played for Carolina and had seven total tackles.
In 109 career games, Searcy has 58 starts with Buffalo (2011-14) and Tennessee (2015-17). He has 326 career tackles, eight interceptions, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns for his career.
Battle originally entered the NFL in 2015 out of Clemson. He signed a reserve future contract with Carolina following the 2018 season but has not appeared in any career games.
