Lancaster County Deputies Arrest Suspect Wanted For 3 Burglaries In Kershaw

KERSHAW, SC — A man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he burglarized three businesses in the Town of Kershaw.

Andy Beckham, 53, was arrested Thursday while reportedly hiding under a blanket inside a vacant trailer on North Hart Street. Deputies say evidence connecting Beckham to all three burglaries was also found inside.

The burglaries were reported as follows:

  • April 22nd at 9am, Heartland Realty on East Hilton Street was reportedly ransacked after the suspect broke in through a rear window. A laptop, two tablets, money order and change were reported stolen. Officials say a bloody sock was found inside.
  •  May 2nd at 4:48am, KARE on East Marion Street was broken into. Deputies say the front door was shattered, but nothing was reported missing.
  • May 2nd at 6:45am, Sparetime Grill on Close Circle was found “tossed about” inside when the proprietor arrived for work. Deputies say the front glass door was broken, and the cash drawer and a fundraising bucket was reported missing from inside.

Beckham is charged with three counts of 2nd Degree Burglary.
