CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for assistance locating a man wanted for disabling his electronic monitoring device.
Jon-Alexander Kwiagaye is wanted for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, First Degree Kidnapping, Damage to Property and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.

Kwiagaye was ordered to wear a monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. On May 6th, Kwiagaye disabled his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of 3327 Piney Grove Road, in Charlotte.
