CLOVER, SC — The York County Sheriff’s Office says a SWAT situation near Clover has ended peacefully.
The incident happened on Brian Road off of Lawrence Road between Highway 321 and Highway 161. York County Sheriff Kevin Tolson said in a statement, “I’m thankful that our highly trained SWAT & negotiator personnel were able to successfully resolve this incident peacefully. Any day we can de-escalate a potentially violent encounter is a good day.”
