Ohio High School Removes Valedictorian
An Ohio High School has made the controversial decision to no longer have a class Valedictorian or Salutatorian, starting next year. School leaders say that 40% of the students graduate with a 4.0 or higher. But, concerns about stress, depression, and anxiety led Mason high School to remove the titles. The Principle says, he wants students to focus on learning and growing, not chasing the highest possible GPA.
