Voters go to Polls on Tuesday for Republican Primary in 9th District Congressional Re-Do
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Precincts open at 6:30 on Tuesday morning in the Republican primary for the 9th Congressional District re-do.
10 candidates are on the ballot.
A new election was ordered in February following a fraud investigation out of Bladen and Robeson Counties.
Five people face charges, including McCrae Dowelss, the political operative at the center of the investigation.
The winner will face democrat Dan McCready in the general election.
