NASCAR Fans Battle Heat Before All-Star Race
CONCORD, N.C. – NASCAR fans tried to stay hydrated on Saturday as temperatures reached the highest so far this year.
Saturday night kicked off the “10 Days of Thunder” with the All-Star Race and then the Coca-Cola 600 next weekend.
Fans are excited as always, but many were not expecting it to be so hot. We saw people fanning themselves and looking for any shade they could find.
The Speedway sent out a tweet asking people to drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and light-colored clothing.
