CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) today announced that Charlotte has been selected to host the 2020 ACC Baseball Tournament. The event will be held at BB&T Ballpark, home of the Charlotte Knights, in the heart of uptown Charlotte. The Charlotte Sports Foundation, the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority and the Knights, who jointly submitted the bid to host the tournament, will serve as the local organizing committee.
“We are very excited to welcome the 2020 ACC Baseball Tournament to Charlotte,” said Danny Morrison, Charlotte Sports Foundation Executive Director. “Hosting this prestigious event is a great honor for the Charlotte Sports Foundation, our partners in the CRVA, the Charlotte Knights, and the city of Charlotte. This illustrates the cooperation among local groups that makes Charlotte so successful in hosting events. We cannot wait to provide an amazing experience for the ACC, the players, and the fans during the 2020 ACC Baseball Tournament.”
