Davidson Police Investigating After Series Of Vehicle Thefts, Break-Ins

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson Police Department says they are investigating a series of vehicle thefts and vehicle break-ins since June 1, 2019.

Police say the incidents have taken place in the areas of McConnell, Bradford, and Davidson Landing.  It is important to note that all the victims have reported that their vehicles were unlocked and/or their keys were in the vehicles at the time of the thefts, according to a news release.

Police are asking residents to remember to close and secure your vehicles and garage doors.  Also, keep valuables out of sight.

Anyone that lives in the area that has outdoor surveillance recordings between June 1st and June 4th that capture sidewalks or streets views are asked to please contact the Davidson Police Department at 704-892-5131.
