Mother Pushing Child In Stroller Struck By Vehicle In Midtown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a mother and her child were struck by a vehicle in Midtown Tuesday afternoon.

A witness told WCCB, two women and the child, who was being pushed in a stroller, were walking on Charlottetowne Ave at S Kings Drive when an SUV pulled out of a parking lot and struck the pedestrians.

MEDIC says they transported one patient to a local hospital for minor injuries.  Police say one of the women and the child were both injured.  There is no word if the driver of the SUV will face any charges.
