Police Investigating After Person Shot In Uptown Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating after someone was shot in Uptown Charlotte.

Officers say they responded to East 8th Street near North Davidson Street just before 12pm in reference to a shooting.

MEDIC says they transported one person to a local hospital with minor injuries.  There is no word on what led to the shooting at this time.  No arrests have been made.
