CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are trying to find the person responsible for a shooting Wednesday morning that sent one person to the hospital.
The crime happened around 11:23am on East 8th Street at Louise Avenue. Police say a man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to investigators, a total of five apartments and three vehicles were also damaged as a result of the shooting. Police say three of the five apartments were occupied at the time.
No other injuries were reported.
CMPD has not released any information on a possible suspect.
