Unsettled Pattern Begins
Bringing back the rain and storms for ya. Today will begin a very unsettled period as waves of rain and storms impact the WCCB Viewing Area. As of now, it is looking like a few severe storms will be possible this afternoon. Damaging wind and hail look to be the biggest threats. Chance for storms will remain in the forecast through Friday. This weekend will be wet with below average daytime highs in the 70s. Showers and at times heavy rain will be possible Luckily, we have been very dry up until this point (Charlotte has not had more than ‘trace’ amounts of rain since May 11) However, after days of rain, flooding may become a concern – especially for the mountains and foothills. Rain and storm chances will stretch into next week.
