Four Juveniles Charged With Robbing Delivery Driver In NW Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — Detectives have charged four juvenile suspects with a robbery that occurred in northwest Charlotte on Tuesday evening.

Police say four juvenile males robbed a pizza delivery driver around 7:42 p.m. at a vacant home on Raspberry Knoll Drive.

A witness reportedly called 911 around the same time and said the four males were loitering around the home.  The caller also said they suspected the teens were involved in possible criminal activity, according to police.

CMPD says responding officers located the delivery driver who indicated she had just been robbed. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspects tried to run on foot but CMPD was able to located the four teens with the help of K-9 and aviation units.

They have each been charged with the robbery. Their names are not being released due to age.
