Catawba County Residents Impacted By Floods Can File Application For Damage Program

NEWTON, NC – To assist with recovery efforts, Catawba County Emergency Services is asking Catawba County residents with storm-related damage to their home to complete a Catawba County Damage Assessment Program application online by clicking HERE.

The deadline to submit a Damage Assessment Program application is Friday, June 14, 2019.

The purpose of the Damage Assessment Program is to gather preliminary data about people and property affected by natural disasters in Catawba County. The application allows affected residents to provide information about their situation and send it directly to Catawba County Emergency Services. A County representative will either contact the resident or visit their location within 48 hours of receiving their application.

Due to the high volume of phone calls received during times of natural disaster, this program is designed to make communication with Catawba County easier, quicker and more efficient for County residents. The application can be accessed online by computer, smartphone or tablet.

Residents without access to the internet may call (828) 466-7213 to complete a Damage Assessment Program application during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00pm). Callers are advised to be prepared for busy signals or waiting on hold due to high call volume.
