FABFEST – Charlotte's Beatles Festival
Knight Theater at Levine Center for the Arts

FABFEST is a weekend celebration of Beatles music that will be unlike anything previously
staged in the Southeast. Beatles fans from near and far will be arriving in Charlotte to have a
fabulous time with John, Paul, George and Ringo in their hearts and great music ringing in their
ears! FABFEST includes 2 evening concerts at Knight Theater in Uptown Charlotte
AND
2 days of live music, speakers and activities at Fairfield by Marriott on Saturday and Sunday.

Levine Museum of the New South, 200 E. 7th Street, is hosting a free family day to celebrate
Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be special performances and activities.
Juneteenth marks the moment in 1865 that enslaved people received word of the abolishment of
slavery at the close of the Civil War. President Abraham Lincoln had issued the Emancipation
Proclamation, an executive order, on January 1st, 1863.

at Science on the Rocks. Each month features themed activities and a chance for adults age 21+
to explore the Museum after-hours. Unlike field trips from your childhood, Science on the
