CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has arrested the man they say robbed a woman and two other people at gunpoint on June 5th.
Police say Terrence Greene, 19, robbed the victims on Riding Trail Road in east Charlotte. The victims told investigators they were meeting someone to buy a phone that was advertised for sale on Facebook’s Marketplace when the crime occurred.
Greene was later identified as the suspect, police say, and taken into custody on Thursday.
He is charged with three counts each of Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
The investigation is ongoing. Police remind anyone trying to conduct online transactions in person to use the designated Exchange Zones located at various Quick Trip locations throughout the city.
