CMPD Finds Body Of South Charlotte Man Missing Since May

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the remains of a man who has been missing since last month were found early Friday morning.

Police say 60-year-old Otis Watson’s remains were found around 8:30 a.m. in a wooded area behind a shopping center on W. Arrowood Road. At this time, they do not suspect any foul play in relation to his death.

Watson was last seen in the area of Arrowood Road and Nations Ford Road on May 26th, 2019, and family members and friends reported him missing on June 2nd.
