Former Carolina Panther, XFL Player Rod “He Hate Me” Smart Found Safe
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says Torrold Smart, AKA ‘He Hate Me,’ has been found and is safe.

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Former Carolina Panther and XFL running back Rod Smart, who became well known for the moniker “He Hate Me”, has been reported missing by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say the 42-year-old Smart, whose given name is Torrold, was last seen on Wednesday, June 12th about 10:30 a.m., in Indian Land South Carolina.
Smart is believed to be operating a silver 2016 Nissan Maxima with North Carolina tag PJR1759.
Authorities say it is unusual for Smart to be out of touch for this long and his family is concerned for his safety and well-being.
In 2001 Smart played with Las Vegas Outlaws of the XFL, where he wore the name “He Hate Me” on the back of his jersey. Smart played for the Panthers from 2002-2005, contributing primarily on special teams.
