Suspects Charged With An Attempted Robbery

Detectives with CMPD have charged Travis Thompson, 27, and Dominique Crowder, 33, with their involvement in a armed robbery.

On Monday, June 17th officers responded to the Fish Kiss Arcade in reference to a robbery from business call for service.

A black male suspect reportedly entered the business holding a gun and began a physical altercation with an armed security guard at the front door.

The security guard shot the suspect and he was transported to the hospital by Medic due to his injuries.

On June 19th, robbery detectives obtained new information that lead to the identification of a second suspect.

Warrants were obtained for Dominique Crowder and he was located and arrested without incident.

Crowder was transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by robbery detectives.

He was later charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
