90s Settle in for the Long Haul

The heat wave continues this week.

The stubborn surface high to our northwest doesn’t look like it’s going to budge any time soon, keeping us mostly dry and allowing temperatures to continue to climb well into the 90s. Evening temperatures will continue to stay above average as well, as most of us will bottom out in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Although the current pattern in place will keep any large-scale disturbances out of our area for the coming days, a stray thundershower or two cannot be ruled out.

Monday: Mostly sunny, hot but slightly less humid. High 93°. N 5-10.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, warm. Low 72°. Light wind.

Tuesday: Hot and stagnant. High 96°. Light wind.
