Now Is The Time To Adopt A Pet At CMPD Animal Care & Control

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you are thinking about adopting a pet, now is a great time.  CMPD Animal Care & Control says July is typically the busiest month for people surrendering unwanted animals.

Right now, they have 456 animals at the shelter on Byrum Drive.  There are more than 265 cats and nearly 200 dogs who are looking for a forever home.
