CMPD Investigating Possible Kidnapping In West Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are investigating a possible kidnapping that took place shortly after midnight in west Charlotte.

The crime was reported around 12:19pm at the Wendy’s on Boyer Street at Billy Graham Parkway. Employees told officers that two women were ordering at the drive-thru when they heard one of the occupants asking for help and claiming she had been kidnapped.

The victim was described as a black woman, roughly 40-60 years of age with a dark complexion.

The suspect driver is described as a black woman, between 25 and 30-years-old, with light skin and red hair braided into a bun. She was also wearing glasses, a red tube top, and had a tattoo of a flower on her shoulder and a small nose ring.

The suspect vehicle is described as a forest green Honda four-door sedan. It has a sunroof, rear spoiler and is displaying a temporary license plate.
