Man Charged After Three People Seriously Injured In West Charlotte Stabbing

The Latest:

The CMPD has charged 40-year-old Reginald Chuvalo Hall with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent To Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, Assault Inflicting Serious Injury Minor Present, and Assault On A Female.

Police have not said whether Hall was one of the people injured in the incident.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a stabbing that injured three people in west Charlotte Monday morning.

CMPD officers responded to a call at about 2:08 a.m. on Linwood Avenue near the intersection of Brookshire Boulevard.

Police found two adults and a juvenile inside a residence with stab wounds.  All three people were taken to the Atrium Health with serious injuries.

Detectives say the assault appears to be a domestic incident and they are not looking for any suspects.
