Charlotte Hosts House Of Soccer Fan Festival At Romare Bearden Park – Full Schedule Announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte has been picked to host this summer’s only House Of Soccer fan festival. The event will take place on Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th in Romare Bearden Park and S.Mint Street in Uptown Charlotte ahead of the International Champions Cup game between the English Premier League’s Arsenal and Italian Serie A club, ACF Fiorentina. Kick-off for that game is scheduled at 6 PM on Saturday, July 20th at Bank of America Stadium.

The announcement from Relevent Sports Group was made Tuesday afternoon during a news conference at Bank of America Stadium. It was also revealed that a first-of-its-kind deal between RSG and Bank of America Stadium has been made to bring the International Champions Cup to Charlotte for the next five years. This marks the first long-term deal between RSG and a host city, highlighting Charlotte’s commitment to bringing major soccer events to the Queen City and further paving the way for a possible MLS bid.
