Edge On The Clock: ‘GOT’ Stars Submit Themselves For Emmy Consideration

‘Game of Thrones’ has a record number of Emmy nods this year, but some of those nominations were almost snubs.
HBO didn’t submit several cast members for consideration.
Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth, had to do it herself.
So did Alfie Allen, who played Theon Greyjoy and Carice Van Houten, who played Melisandre.
All covered their own $225 entry fee and it paid off, because all three are nominated for acting awards.

Plus, Taylor Swift gives fans a first look at the famous feline faces in the new musical ‘Cats’ and people are now getting a mental health boost by cuddling cows.
