CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is asking for assistance locating a man wanted for cutting off his electronic monitoring device.
Shawn Cannon, 19, is wanted for Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Assault on A Female, Damage to Property, and Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device.

Cannon was court ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device as a condition of his pre-trial release. On July 22nd 2019, Cannon cut off his electronic monitor and was last known to be in the area of 5200 Grenelefe Village Road in Charlotte.
