Rain Chances Continue into Workweek
A more settled pattern returns to the Carolinas by Wednesday.
The rainmaking system that’s made itself at home here in the Carolinas for the better part of the past week will finally saunter off the coast by midweek, which should leave us with a drier pattern. Until then, however, we will be dealing with increased cloud coverage and rain chances. Temperatures will hover around average for this time of year before slowly creeping into the lower 90s by the end of the week. Unfortunately, even with the departure of the rain, the humidity will make things uncomfortable for us for the foreseeable future.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies with isolated storms. High 89°. Wind: SW 5-10.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear. Humidity sticks around. Low 72°. Light wind.
Wednesday: The 90s are back! Finally drier. High 91°. Wind: S 5-10.
