Stifling Heat Continues into Week

Highs will buzz around the lower 90s for the week ahead.

A hot and stagnant pattern will continue well into next week as temperatures make themselves at home in the 90s. Sticky dew points could make it feel even hotter, so be sure to stay hydrated and take indoor breaks when possible. Most of us will be dealing with mostly sunny skies throughout the afternoons and evenings for the next couple of days, but a few isolated storms could give us some relief from the heat. At the moment, it looks like Tuesday and Wednesday will be the hottest days of the week before a rainmaking system arrives and more manageable temperatures return.

Monday: Mostly sunny and warm. High 90°. Light wind.

Monday Night: Mild and humid. Low 73°. Light wind.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Heat cranks up. High 94°. Wind: SW 5-10
