Enjoy Free Concerts And Movies?! Blumenthal Has You Covered!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Grab your lawn chair and head out to Blumenthal’s free events: Sounds on the Square and Movie Nights at Seventh and Tryon!

The band Southern Avenue will perform for free at Sounds on the Square on August 16th.  The show starts at 7pm and will take place at The Square at Spirit Square.  Concessions and beverages will be available for purchase and the event will be moved indoors if there is inclement weather.

Southern Avenue’s self-titled debut album is a breath of fresh air with its own unique blend of gospel-tinged R&B vocals, roots/blues-based guitar work and soul-inspired songwriting.On their second album, Keep On, set for release on May 10, 2019, the dynamic outfit expands its gritty musical vision to embrace new musical challenges and a more expansive creative vision.

Can’t attend Friday night?  No worries, you can watch the movie Jumanji at 8:45pm at the corner of 7th Street and North Tryon Street for Movie Nights at Seventh & Tryon.  Concessions and beverages will be available for purchase but the event is free.  This event will be moved indoors if there is inclement weather.
