Two Teens Injured In Fort Mill Shooting

FORT MILL, S.C. — Fort Mill Police say they are working to get more information after two 16-year-olds were shot Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to several 911 calls from residents near the Forest Ridge Apartments located on Forest Ridge Drive and Highway 21 North just after 8pm on August 14th.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing numerous people leaving the area on foot and in vehicles. according to a news release.

Officers say they received information that two people that were allegedly involved in the shooting were requesting medical assistance from two different locations.

Both teens were taken to a hospital in Charlotte for treatment.  Police say their conditions are unknown at this time.  No other information has been released.  Police say updates will be forthcoming as further information develops.
