Medical Examiner’s Office Rules Jeffrey Epstein’s Prison Death As Suicide By Hanging
Jeffrey Epstein’s prison death was ruled a suicide by hanging, the New York City medical examiner’s office tells the Associated Press.

MANHATTAN, N.Y. — Jeffrey Epstein, the billionaire arrested on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, was found dead in his jail cell. Officials say Epstein killed himself.
Epstein was found dead Saturday morning at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. This was his second attempt at taking his life after he was found unresponsive in his jail cell last month.
Epstein was awaiting trial on numerous federal charges that included sexually abusing victims as young as 14-years-old. He was facing 45 years behind bars.
