Tiff’s Treats Grand Opening Supports Sweet Cause In Mecklenburg County
CHARLOTTE, NC — During the grand opening of their first Charlotte-area store, Tiff’s Treats will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics.
The Texas-based company, who already has 52 locations throughout Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina, will have a grand opening celebration for their first Charlotte location on Saturday, August 24th from 9am-3pm.
The store is located at 7314 Waverly Walk Avenue in Suite E3, and is open Monday-Friday from 9am-10pm and 10am-10pm on the weekends.
The grand opening will feature $1 per dozen “hot-out-of-the-oven” Tiff’s Treats cookies, $100 Tiff’s Treats gift cards for the first 40 people in line, a chance to win FREE cookies for a year, and random cookie boxes containing special prizes from local businesses. Actress/Model Brooklyn Decker and tennis star Andy Roddick, brand ambassadors for Tiff’s Treats, will also be in attendance.
Tiff’s Treats says $5 from every box of cookies sold, up to $5,000, will be donated to Mecklenburg County Special Olympics.
“One of our favorite things about Tiff’s Treats is with every store opening they donate proceeds to a local organization,” said Brooklyn Decker, who is a Charlotte-area native. “I am a global Special Olympics Ambassador and Charlotte is a special market for us, not only because I grew up here, but because my aunt is a Special Olympics athlete here. This partnership was a no-brainer. Andy and I are thrilled to show both our continued support for Special Olympics and our continued fandom for Tiff’s Treats cookies.”
Guests can also bring regulation sport balls and/or equipment to the grand opening event, which will then be donated to the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics, and receive a $5 Tiff’s Treats gift card in exchange for their donation.
