Growing Concerns From Panthers Fans About Mobile Tickets

CHARLOTTE, NC. — Growing concerns from Panthers fans about new mobile tickets. Some worry technology issues will happen again at Thursday night’s preseason finale.

For the first home pre-season Panthers game, fans were frustrated with long lines getting into Bank of America Stadium.

“Not only were we waiting in line for an hour, when we got up to the line we were held at the line for another 10, 15 minutes. It was ridiculous,” says Hunter Boyd.

Fans say their StubHub app was down and they couldn’t access their mobile tickets.

“I’ve never seen anything like this. They’re not having any paper tickets and now you have to go through the app and a bunch of people have had trouble with this app,” says another fan.

PDF tickets no longer work to get in the gate. Fans who had issues had to wait in line at customer service to get into the game. WCCB reached out to StubHub and the Panthers trying to find out where the problem originated, but neither got back to us.

The Panthers ticket office says if you have issues, people in orange vests outside the stadium will be able to help you.
