Pleasant Temps and Plenty of Sunshine

Drier air filling in this morning with highs reaching the mid 80s. It won’t be as steamy, with sunny skies prevailing through the day. Overnight lows will be cooler, dropping into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Sunny through the end of the week with temps back in the upper 80s tomorrow. Mugginess returns for the weekend with rain and storm chances coming back into the picture Sunday into Labor Day Monday.
Hurricane Dorian Update:
Dorian is now a Cat 1 Hurricane with sustained winds of 85 mph. It will continue to strengthen over the next few days with a healthy amount of warm water, relatively low shear and little land interaction. Current guidance has the storm strengthening to a category 3 major hurricane before making landfall near the space coast late Sunday into Monday. It will slow down quite a bit before making landfall. Depending on how this storm steers making its left turn late Friday will decide where this storm will ultimately make landfall.
