York County Provides List Of Locations Available For Hurricane Dorian Evacuees

YORK COUNTY, S.C. (News Release) — As many coastal residents in South Carolina prepare for the impact of Hurricane Dorian, local travel and tourism leaders in York County complied a list of locations available for evacuees.  Travelers can log on to the Visit York County website to find a complete list of hotels including those hotels that are Pet Friendly.

In an effort to assist those affected by Hurricane Dorian and traveling by RV, the City of Rock Hill will open the RV lot located adjacent to the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track (1307 Riverwalk Parkway, Rock Hill).

According to city officials, the lot has 43 RV sites available on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge, with water and electric hook-ups and a central dump station. Some rules and regulations will apply.

Below is a list of York County hotel properties reporting occupancy as of September 3rd, between the hours of 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The hotel occupancy percentage is subject to change as more details develop surrounding Hurricane Dorian.
