Chance The Rapper Postpones Charlotte Concert Following Birth Of Daughter

Chance The Rapper is moving The Big Day Tour to 2020 following the birth of his daughter, Kensli.  Chance released the following message to his fans via social media:

The new dates will kick off January 15, 2020, in San Diego, CA, and make stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto, New York and more, before wrapping February 24 in Milwaukee, WI. Tickets for the rescheduled dates are available for purchase now at chanceraps.com/tour. Special guests to be announced soon.

Chance the Rapper will now visit Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Thursday, January 30.

Given availability at certain venues, the Ottawa, Newark, Omaha, Tulsa, Tampa, St. Louis, and St. Paul dates will be rescheduled at a later date. The United Center show in Chicago, IL, on September 28, 2019, will play as scheduled, and the second show on September 29, 2019, will be rescheduled for a later date. Life Is Beautiful, iHeartRadio Music Festival and Miami Beach Pop Festival will play as scheduled.

Fans who purchased tickets to all other 2019 dates should retain their current tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled 2020 dates. For those unable to attend the new dates, refunds will be available at point of purchase.

CHARLOTTE, NC — On Monday, Chance The Rapper announced his highly-anticipated return to the road with The Big Day, touching down in cities across North America this fall. The tour reveal follows the long-awaited release of his debut studio album, The Big Day, out last Friday.

The innovative GRAMMY award-winner will kick off the 35-stop tour on September 14th in San Francisco, CA and visit Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City, Houston and more before wrapping November 10th in Miami, FL.

Chance The Rapper will play Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Saturday, October 12. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, August 2, at 10 a.m.at chanceraps.com/tour, spectrumcentercharlotte.com or the Spectrum Center Box Office.
