The re-do vote for the 9th Congressional District in North Carolina continues.
Federal Elections Commission records show that Democrat Dan McCready raised $4.9 million in campaign funds and Republican Dan Bishop raised $1.9 million.
According to the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections, 44,000 voted early, which was about 32,000 more than two years ago.
This year’s ballot includes votes for the City of Charlotte Mayor, Charlotte City Council Members; as well as Mayoral and Board of Commissioner votes for the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill, and Pineville.
Polls will opened at 6:30am and close at 7:30pm.
