Vendors Say ‘Home Show’ Organizers Promised Big Crowds, But Didn’t Deliver

Hundreds of vendors are now looking for answers after they say the organizers of the recent Charlotte Fall Home, Design And Remodeling Show left town before the event was scheduled to end.

Vendors say they were promised that somewhere between 8,000 and 11,000 people would attend the event, which was held at the Park Expo Center in East Charlotte last weekend. Yet, some vendors who talked to the Queen City Nerve say less than 100 people attended the home show over three days.
They also say the organizers failed to advertise the event and vanished before it ended on Sunday.

The event’s organizer is a company called NCI Shows, which is based out of Atlanta.
The company’s website states:

‘With over 75 years of combined experience, home shows produced by NCI Shows, LLC are among the highest quality shows in the southeast. Quality exhibitors and exciting features & giveaways attract quality buying crowds and bring them back year in and year out. Home shows provide the best and most measurable return on your marketing dollar. And we at NCI Shows, LLC are committed to making every show and every exhibitor as successful as possible.’

But vendors say the Charlotte Fall Home, Design And Remodeling Show was anything but a success.
They say the organizers breached their contract and they should return the vendor fees.
Some say they are reaching out to lawyers to take legal action.
