MONROE, NC — The City of Monroe says a sanitary sewer project, expected to last nine weeks, will begin on September 23rd.
Crews will be replacing nine sanitary sewer mains in the street right-of-way on English Street, Fairly Avenue, First Street and John Street. All streets are located in the Winchester neighborhood.
City officials say the work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 23rd and is expected to take roughly nine weeks to complete.
Any damaged or disturbed items will also be restored or replaced, officials say, once the project is complete.
