Open Streets 704 Will Be Held This Weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — Open Streets 704, the popular program that allows participants the opportunity to explore Charlotte-Mecklenburg in ways that aren’t possible by car, returns on Sunday, Sept. 15 from 1-5 p.m.

Everyone is invited to bike, walk, skateboard or dance their way along the 4-mile route, which stretches from West End to Dilworth and passes through five County parks: Latta Park, Frazier Park, James Dennis Rash Third Ward Neighborhood Park, Romare Bearden Park and Seversville Park.

Come and enjoy music, food and more than 70 free activities, spanning four zones along the route: Arts and Science Zone, Southminster Family Zone, Green Zone and Wellness Zone. You can view the route map and details about the zones HERE.
