INDIAN LAND, SC — The Lancaster County Sheriff and Coroner will be among those speaking at a public safety town hall scheduled for October 10th.
The event will focus on recent trends throughout the area and how they are being addressed by local agencies. The opiod crisis and how it is impacting the local community will also be a topic of conversation, officials say.
Lancaster County Sheriff Barry Faile, Lancaster County Coroner Karla Deese and the Sixth Circuit Solicitor Randy Newman are scheduled to speak at the event.
Officials say the town hall is free and open to the public. Public questions and comments are encouraged.
The event will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 7pm. It will be held at Transformation Church located at 1212 Transformation Lane in Indian Trail.
